Research Interests
Broadly, I am interested in the ecology and conservation of beneficial insects. More specifically, I am interested in bumble bee life history, nesting habitat, and their responses to local- and landscape- factors such as prairie restoration and how these insects intersect with people’s lives. My goal is to answer scientific questions through interdisciplinary collaborations and to make the research accessible and relevant to more than just the scientific community. Therefore, I aim to actively integrate racial justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, outreach, and mentorship into my research.
Personal Interests
Cooking Korean and Vietnamese food, casual running, advocating for racial justice and equity, debating politics, painting, drawing, XC skiing, crocheting constantly, macro photography, good TV, science fiction, traveling to see friends and family.
