Research Interests
I am broadly interested in the use of ecological knowledge and training to create sustainable agricultural ecosystems with a focus on ecosystem services provided by insects. My research focuses on the use of flowering cover crops to support wild pollinators such as flies and bees in annual cropping systems in Wisconsin. I am also involved with the WiBee project, and am interested in using community science and data visualization to make current scientific research more accessible to agricultural practitioners and the public.
