New brochure on wild bees in Wisconsin apple orchards
Recently, lab technician Olivia Bernauer and post-doc Hannah Gaines Day put together a brochure about the wild bee pollinators found in Wisconsin apple orchards which was handed out to apple growers at the 2017 Field Day at one of our research partner farms, Green’s Pleasant Springs Orchard. This brochure summarizes information about the most important wild bee visitors to apple blossoms and provides some guidelines on how to provide nesting and foraging resources for these bees. You can download it here.
